Location

Pullman Zamzam Madina is located about a 2-minute walk from the Prophet’s Mosque. You can still manage the walk even in the scorching heat that exceeds 45°C (113°F).
Pullman Zamzam Madina is located in central Medina, just a few minutes’ walk from the southern gate of the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an Nabawi). The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, not only for easy access to the mosque but also because it’s surrounded by various facilities, making it ideal for both sightseeing and shopping. In particular, the evening light reflecting off the white walls of the mosque is as beautiful as a sacred ceremony, deeply touching the hearts of visitors.

The ground floor of the hotel building has shops including Starbucks
On the ground floor of the hotel, there’s a Starbucks and souvenir shops, so you can relax with coffee or easily purchase souvenirs. There are also restaurants and cafes nearby, so you won’t have trouble finding food as you can enjoy local cuisine.

Now let’s head into the hotel!
Check-in Time

As expected from the global Pullman brand, the lobby exudes luxury
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately captivated by the opulence of the lobby. The desert-colored marble shines beautifully, creating a luxurious atmosphere, and the cool touch of the marble helps you forget the heat of Medina.

The cool lounge is ideal for spending time before check-in
At the check-in counter, I confirmed my reservation details and presented my passport. I was a bit concerned about whether I, as a non-Muslim, would be denied accommodation. However, such worries were unnecessary. The staff were very kind, and when I explained I was staying for tourism purposes, they welcomed me warmly.

We’ve come up to the 7th floor
After completing check-in, I received the key to my room on the 7th floor. I was staying in a Panoramic Haram View Room. The hotel offers several room types, including City View Rooms that don’t face the Prophet’s Mosque, Haram View Rooms that face the mosque but have smaller windows, and suite rooms. Since my main purpose was to enjoy the view of the Prophet’s Mosque, I splurged a little on the Panoramic Haram View room, which is an upgraded version of the Haram View Room featuring large windows and unobstructed views.
Room View

A truly prime seat! The green dome is right in your line of sight

True to its name – a panoramic view! You can see the entire mosque from an almost straight-on angle
When I opened the door to my room with high expectations, I couldn’t help but exclaim at the dynamic view that spread before me. From the room, I could see the beautiful green dome and had a complete view of the Prophet’s Mosque. The mosque has a different charm when viewed from above compared to seeing it from the ground, and I felt extremely privileged. This was truly a jackpot view! The scenery before me was as beautiful as a painting, and the dome of the mosque visible through the window emitted a divine light.

The view from below was nice, but viewing the mosque from above is also magical

The moment of lounging on the bed, feeling the air conditioning while gazing at the green dome bathed in the evening sun is truly special
Lying on the bed while gazing at the Prophet’s Mosque, I felt as though I was enveloped in sacred air. I was able to truly relax in the quiet and calm atmosphere. As it happened to be the time for Asr (afternoon prayer), the sound of prayers coming from the mosque brought peace to my heart.
Hotel Facilities

The lobby floor has excellent cafes
Let me also describe the facilities in the hotel. Pullman Zamzam Madina has a lounge café on the ground floor, perfect for a quick break. There are also restaurants on the mezzanine and rooftop floors, with the rooftop restaurant’s selling point being the view of the Prophet’s Mosque. Dinner can be quite expensive, so I recommend the breakfast buffet option. You can enjoy multinational cuisine, including Saudi Arabian local dishes, Western cuisine, and even sushi, with a variety of menu items. The morning moments of drinking fresh fruit juice while gazing at the mosque are truly special.

Personally, I recommend the breakfast buffet at the rooftop restaurant “Al Mandara”!
